Hello World!

Hey there—I’m Dave, and I’m here to help you find your way forward.

I’ve spent over a decade wrangling software teams in the high-tech trenches of Southwestern Ontario, Canada. It’s an industry where everything moves fast and people burn out even faster. I learned how to do the impossible—balance work with, you know, an actual life. I’ve written books, made art, and kept chasing new ideas while still getting the job done.

Here’s the thing: Most people aren’t failing because they’re lazy—they’re drowning in systems that weren’t built for humans. As work piles up, relationships break down. Conversations with co-workers turn into cold, corporate cage matches. At home, things get brittle. And when people hit that wall, they started coming to me—asking how to pull their lives back from the brink.

I’ve been a people manager and a project manager, and in both cases, I’ve been asked to help out. The former job required me to dispense advice, especially when it came to work-life balance. The second job let me tell people how to work more efficiently. And yet, I kept getting asked about personal issues.

Turns out, the Scrum methodology I use to keep software projects on track works just as well for real-life goals. Big promotion? Creative side hustle? Just wanting to breathe again? It’s all a project—you just need the right system.

I don’t do vague affirmations or one-size-fits-all advice. I help you build a plan that works in the world you actually live in. Let’s break down your goals, cut through the noise, and get you moving again.

Because your next step isn’t some abstract dream—it’s right in front of you. Let’s take it.
